SUPPORT LEAGUE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES WITH YOUR DONATION  
Your financial donations are greatly appreciated and important. They can be tax-deductible, too.
 
Is My Donation Tax-deductible? 
  • Donations made to LWVC Education Fund ARE tax-deductible. These donations are used strictly  within our local league.
  • Donations made to LWVNSBC, which is currently a 501(c)4 organization, are NOT tax-deductible.

The details:

The League of Women Voters of California Education Fund allows local leagues to solicit tax-deductible donations that can be used to reimburse our expenses for 501(c)(3)-permissible charitable and educational activities that we carry out in compliance with LWV policies. Your donations may also be used by us to make contributions to the national LWVEF or the California league affiliated 501(c)(3).  All of our education fund expenses are approved by our local Board of Directors.

Donations to the Education Fund, a 501(c)(3)corporation, are fully tax-deductible where allowed by law.
