Audience members will have an opportunity to submit written questions. Questions will be reviewed to ensure they are relevant, respectful, and appropriate for all participating candidates. Each candidate will receive equal time to respond under the direction of a trained, nonpartisan moderator.
The League of Women Voters of North Santa Barbara County, AAUW Lompoc-Vandenberg, and the NAACP Santa Maria-Lompoc Branch do not support or oppose any candidate or political party. The partnership’s candidate forums are organized solely to provide fair, accessible, and nonpartisan voter education.
Together, the three organizations encourage every eligible resident to register to vote, learn about the candidates and local issues, and participate in the November election.
