Sandy and Steve spending their afternoon on National Voter Registration Day at Orcutt Brank of Santa Maria Library. Are YOU registered?
Tuesday, Sept 17, thousands of organizations, celebrities, and everyday Americans are spreading the word about the importance of checking your voter registration—and we're joining them.
We will be out tabling, celebrating National Voter Registration Day by educating voters at local public libraries:
- Santa Maria Public Library: 2-4 PM
- Orcutt branch library: 2-4 PM
- Guadalupe branch library: 2-4 PM
- Solvang Library: 2-4 PM
- Lompoc Library: 2-4 PM, and at
- Cuyama Library: Wednesday Sept. 18, 2-4 P.M.
Stop by and see local district maps, a list of all the certified candidates and races that will be on your ballots, and more non-partisan voter information while registering to vote, or re-registering if you have moved, or pre-registering if you are 16 years old or older.
Registering to vote is the key way to ensure that you can engage in our country's political process. We come from all walks of life, and we vote for lots of different reasons. But today, all Americans deserve the chance to stand up for what matters most to them. And the best way to do that is to register and vote.
