Linda Marquez

Linda Marquez joined the League of Women Voters of San Jose/Santa Clara in January 2022 after she retired.  Prior to joining the League, Linda worked in the semiconductor industry both for semiconductor manufacturing equipment companies (Lam Research, Mattson Technology) and as a principal engineer (Intel) after graduating from UC Berkeley with a PhD in Chemistry in 1993.

As a member of the League of Women Voters San Jose/Santa Clara, Linda was a co-chair for Voter's Edge and Vote411 for 3 years, and served as Secretary for one year in 2024.  Her last position was Director on the Board, as well as an active member of the Membership and Climate Change Committees.  Linda joined the Southwest Santa Clara Valley chapter in May of 2025 because she lives in Campbell and wanted to be more involved with Campbell's government and elected officials.

Linda looks forward to working with her fellow members in the Southwest Santa Clara Valley chapter and helping the League educate voters and promote democracy.
