Presenters include League members from throughout the state serving on the League of Women Voters of Idaho’s Legislative Action Committee, some of whom have participated in League studies on education funding since 2015. 

Additional representatives from the group called TOADS (Totally Dedicated Advocates Dedicated to Students) will be on hand to explain how they used a League study to develop bills they are promoting in the Idaho Legislature.  

The presentation will include some currently proposed legislation and how to give input to legislators. The presentation is timely since it is occurring during “Education Week” in the Idaho Legislature, and the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee (JFAC) will be discussing education funding all week.
