Join the League of Women Voters of Moscow for our Speaker Series event, University of Idaho Update, presented by President Scott Green at 12 p.m. PT. 

Green's presentation will include a look at: UI's statewide impact; challenges and opportunities (COVID-19, enrollment, budget, etc.); collaborative leadership; and university priorities of student success.

Green, a Moscow native, took office as the 19th president of the UI on July 1, 2019. Prior to joining the university, he was an executive with a career in global finance, operations and administration. He is an alumnus of the university, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He also attended Harvard Business School and received a Master of Business Administration in 1989.

His commitment to the UI over many years has included service on the UI Alumni Association’s national Board of Directors, the College of Business and Economics Advisory Board and on the UI Foundation Board. He is also a Vandal Scholarship Fund supporter.

Green and his wife, Gabriella, an interior design project manager, have two adult children.
