September is National Voter Registration Month, and we need YOU! We are hoping to set a new record in voter registrations this year, ahead of a very important election cycle in 2024.
In partnership with the Village of Woodridge, the League of Women Voters Downers Grove -Woodrige -Lisle hosted a very well received program. The Telling Tales Theater group shared their personal stories of living as their authentic selves.
Led by the Empowerment Club of Downers Grove North High School, students are teaming with the League of Women Voters of Downers Grove, Woodridge, Lisle to get the message out that voting matters!
In February, we held our Advocacy Training, where Hilary Denk and Audra Wilson talked about best practices in advocacy and engagement with elected officials and others you seek to influence and educate.
