LWV Chicago has invited our League and League friends to join their monthly free walks in the Cook County Forest Preserves.
Their next walk will be on September 15th. It will be at Catherine Chevalier Woods near O'Hare. It is about a one hour walk with a naturalist as a guide. Registration for this event, which is open to all, is required and the link follows.
Register to attend by September 13. The event is limited to 20 people.
Hike along the Des Plaines River. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to join us for a picnic.
