To reduce our own carbon footprint, we often think first of transportation. But emissions from heating and cooling homes and businesses are also a major contributor. Four panelists focus on the steps toward lowering household emissions: designing for sustainability, reasons for going electric and incentives available, how to plan ahead for a healthier, gas-free home before your old equipment fails, energy audits, and new clean energy alternatives like heat pumps, etc.

Panelists

  • Zoe Huspen, Citizens Utility Board Carbon-Free Buildings coordinator
  • Kim Moldofsky, Rewiring America certified speaker
  • Joe Konopacki, Insight Property Services on the home energy audit
  • Tom Bassett-Dilley of TBDarchitects, on sustainable design for remodeling or building.
