Author Julian Hoffman appears at this special Lunchreads virtual event sponsored by Go Green Reads in conjunction with The Book Stall. We'll be featuring his book, Irreplaceable: The Fight to Save Our Wild Places. Hoffman shows us that just as the destruction of wild places is the result of unsustainable human practices, the protection and restoration of these vital places can be the work of human communities as well, reminding us not only of how fundamentally connected we are to the natural world, but of how powerfully and positively transformative our actions can be.
