Let’s Talk About It: Women’s Suffrage: Alix E. Harrow, "The Once And Future Witches"

Tuesday, May 24, 2022 - 7:00pm
The final book in our Women's Suffrage discussion series is a wonderful historical fantasy set in 1893 Salem. Three Eastwood sisters, James Juniper, Agnes Amaranth, and Beatrice Belladonna, fight for independence with the suffragists and utilize long forgotten spells and magic to secure their political rights. Join us to discuss The Once And Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow.

Leading our discussion series is Joshua Fulton, Associate Professor of History, Moraine Valley Community College. Professor Fulton will open the program, bringing the book to life with insights and background on the author and the work. This will be followed by group discussion.

Let’s Talk About It: Women’s Suffrage is a humanities discussion project from the American Library Association (ALA) supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
