The League of Women Voters of Cook County 2021 Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday morning, May 18 from 10-12noon via Zoom.  The business meeting will include all business that needs to come before the membership including election of officers and directors and approval of the 2021-22 budget and 20-21 Program. We are pleased to announce that our speaker this year will be Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. She will speak and take questions after we have concluded the business part of the meeting.

Our bylaws require that in odd numbered years the annual meeting shall elect a president, one vice-president, treasurer, and three board directors.  Local leagues are encouraged to make suggestions for any of these positions to the Nominating Committee. Nominations may be submitted to the Nominating Committee Chairperson, Pat Graunke, by email at patriciagraunke [at] gmail.com by March 1.                                       .

Anyone with recommendations for the LWVCC program for next year should submit their recommendations to Nancy Marcus at ngmarcus614 [at] gmail.com,  Any recommendations need to be submitted by March 1.

Please put the Annual Meeting date, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 on your calendars and notify your members of the date.  We will send more specific information about the meeting and delegates at a later date.
