Our Rescheduled Opening Meeting, Marijuana 2022, will be held on February 9, 2022.  The program will be held at 7:00 p.m. The program was planned to be hybrid, but due to the increase in Covid-19 Delta and Omicron variant cases, will be held virtually via our League's Zoom account.  Please register in advance.

• Giselle Fesalvo, Representative, Windy City Cannabis, (Highwood recreational use dispensary)

Speakers will address the timeline of legalization and the development of medical to recreational use, including the discussions Highwood and Highland Park had in the authorization of sales.  Dr. Mendoza Temple will discuss the background information on how and why views on use and sales have changed and how the new laws appear to be working. There will time for questions and discussion.
