New Exhibit and Lecture Celebrate Pioneering Women

Kick off Women's History Month at the Museum on Sunday, March 1st!  Stop by from 1–2 p.m. to explore the new exhibit “Wilmette Women Breaking the Glass Ceiling” which highlights some of Wilmette’s most accomplished residents, women who rose to prominence in their chosen fields.  The exhibit opening will be followed at 2 p.m. by a conversation with Lori Osborne, director of the Evanston Women’s History Project and the Frances Willard House Museum, on “Illinois Women and the Fight for the Vote.” Her talk marks 100 years since the 1920 ratification of the 19th Amendment. The exhibit opening and lecture are free and all are welcome.
