The Race Against Hate is scheduled for June 15 (Father’s Day) beginning at 7:30a.m. at Floyd Long Field. The Race honors the legacy of Ricky Byrdsong, an African American former coach of the Northwestern University Basketball team and a Vice President at Aon Corporation, who was shot and killed in 1999 near his home in Skokie by a white supremacist.
