The League of Women Voters of Michigan asks you to urge your members of the Michigan House of Representatives and Michigan Senate to pass the state's budget now.

We understand there are differences in the budgets proposed by the Governor, the Michigan Senate and the Michigan House of Representatives, but legislators need to work together to fund state programs. It is vital to avoid a government shutdown on October 1.
