The League of Women Voters of Berrien & Cass Counties and the NAACP Niles/Buchanan Branch invite you to a special screening of Three Marches, Two Sisters, One Bridge in recognition of the League of Women Voters’ Unite & Rise for Voting Rights! National Day of Action.

This free community event commemorates the 61st anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and joins a nationwide day of action for voting rights. Produced by the Michigan-based nonprofit When You Vote - I Win, the documentary is designed to inspire civic engagement and voter registration.

The film features two sisters who recount their experiences as young foot soldiers during three historic civil rights marches in 1965 and reflect on the continuing importance of the ballot box today.
