Promote the Vote has released a min-report Voter Identification in Michigan on Michigan's voter ID law, including its security feature, which ensures that no registered voter is disenfranchised because they lack a photo ID.

According to Promote the Vote's research, many Michiganders have no idea that:

• Michigan already has a voter ID law
• Pursuant to that law every voter must verify their identity before voting, and
• Some elected officials want to radically after that law
