Note that Rotary is one of the oldest and largest professional service organizations in the world. It was formed in 1905 by four young businessmen in Chicago. It soon became international and now has 1.2 million members in 36,000 clubs around the world. Women were not allowed to join a Rotary club until a landmark decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1987. Women now make up about one-third of membership in North American Rotary clubs and one-quarter worldwide. This webinar is dedicated to the story of the past 35 years.
