Charles Thomas, Jr., a member of the ACLU People Power group, will describe his campaign to increase voter turnout in Detroit and Pontiac.
Supporters of this project include the LWV, the Voter Access for All Campaign, the NAACP Oakland and St. Clair Shores, and the ACLU.
Mr. Thomas is motivated by the low voter turnout in Detroit and Pontiac and by his two aunts who were passionate activists in the civil rights movement.
The Zoom presentation takes place on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. A Gray Panthers' meeting begins after the talk and is open to all.
