April 12, 2022 is Advocacy Day and we would love for you to join us!
Each year Michigan Moms Demand Action volunteers meet with state lawmakers about priority gun violence prevention policies to keep our communities safer. This is a great opportunity to make sure our legislators know our concerns, to show appreciation for those legislators who already support our work, and to meet and support each other.
This year volunteers can participate in-person in Lansing or virtually via Zoom. We meet lawmakers in groups, so you won’t be alone, and there will be an online recorded training session to help you prepare for the meeting and to educate you on the key legislation.
Please join us for Advocacy Day
April 12, 2022
8:30am EST
We will be sending out a poll about attendance preferences and providing more details about meeting times, locations, and Zoom links to those who have RSVP'ed.
Next Statewide Meeting: March 22, 2022 at 7 pm
Join us for our next statewide meeting, which will be held virtually, on March 22! We will be preparing for Advocacy Day and highlighting some of the key legislation we are trying to get passed.
If you are curious about Advocacy Day, this is a great introduction. Even if you are not planning to attend Advocacy Day, this a great chance to get good information and talking points about pending bills, which you can use to write your Michigan lawmakers to let them know you support the bills’ passage.
Please join us for the March Membership Meeting
