Public Seminar Addressing Dearborn Heights Residents’ Need for Information Relating to the City’s Ordinance and Animal Control Issues and Functions.

The City of Dearborn Heights will hold a free public seminar addressing residents’ need for information relating to the city’s ordinance and animal control issues and functions. The Feb. 21 seminar will take place at the Dearborn Heights City Hall Council Chambers, 6045 Fenton Street, and will begin at 6 p.m. Representatives from the city’s legal and ordinance/animal control departments will be on hand to address the following topics:

• Community Development Block Grant basics

• Basics of the City’s Animal Control and Ordinance Enforcement operations

• Ways to help neighbors and assist with ordinance enforcement in the neighborhoods

• Review of processes and procedures.

Participants will be able to submit their questions on index cards and submit them to the speakers for consideration. The speakers will select several of the questions to address publicly as part of their presentations.
