The League of Women Voters of Michigan urges the passage of SB 669 and SB 670 that would make the Legislature and the Governor subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Expanding transparency of these two branches of government is extremely important. These bills would make government more accountable. The bills have exemptions to protect sensitive information.
