Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson today announced that Michigan has been ranked second in the nation for election administration by the Elections Performance Index (EPI) released by the MIT Election Data and Science Lab. For the 2022 midterm elections, Michigan scored 88% on the EPI, which provides an objective measure of the election performance of every state for federal elections.
