At the National League’s 2022 convention, the LWVUS adopted the position to support the abolition of the Electoral College. View the official LWVUS presentation that covers the history of this outdated institution, debunks myths of how it prevents larger states from controlling the outcome of the presidential elections, and how its abolition would reflect the American ideal of One Person / One Vote.

In November, we hosted a brainstorming session on how to get out the vote (GOTV) during the upcoming election season. The GOTV Action Team will meet in person at Janice's house to review, prioritize, and implement those ideas.
