Advocacy and education in support of expedited, just and effective policies and actions to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change and thereby restore and protect our area’s land, water, and air.
This is our monthly advocacy planning meeting. Discussion may include local actions in support of positions from any level of the League, as well as updates on current priority issues such as housing, immigration, and healthcare.
The LWVN believes that city government should be efficient and economical, that the government should retain competent personnel, insure clear assignment of
responsibility, and secure adequate financing.
