The League's Impact on Redistricting

In September 2019, the League launched its national redistricting effort People Powered Fair Maps™ (PPFM).

Action Alerts

LWVUS and Lyft have announced a partnership to provide access to transportation to the polls on Election Day. Through its LyftUp Voting Access Program, Lyft will offer free and discounted rides for the upcoming midterm elections.

SAFE (Safe, Accessible & Fair Elections) Action Team

An increasing number of people found their way to League membership in 2020, most citing their reason for joining as concern about the state of US Democracy. In response, the League formed a committee called SAFE – safe, accessible and fair elections. The 12-15 members who joined the early fall 2020 meetings identified the two areas in which they wanted to focus:
