On February 24, 2024 the LWVVC voter service team stayed busy at the Central Florida Black Homeschoolers Expo. Held in Deland FL, the expo is a place for home-schooling families and community members to network, attend education workshops and connect with organizations and community resources. A topic of great interest was the 2024 elections. LWVVC members answered questions throughout the day about upcoming elections, voter rights and were able to distribute helpful voter education material. League representatives enjoyed meeting parents and students and learning about other non-partisan groups that provide services to the Volusia community.
