The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Membership

Membership dues for the League of Women Voters of Los Alamos are due in April for the fiscal year from May through April. If you have not paid your dues and renewed your membership yet, we sincerely hope you will. If you still support the mission and goals of the League, and you find the newsletter and our programs useful and interesting, please visit the Join/Donate page to complete a membership form and remit your membership dues.

Join the County Clerk for the official preparation and certification of the voting machines to be used for the 2024 General Election.  The certification will take place on Tuesday, September 24, at 9 AM at the Municipal Building.

At a recent board meeting, the Los Alamos League voted to encourage student memberships by making them free.

We are truly a grassroots organization... We are nonpartisan, but, after study, we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest.
