The League of Women Voters of the Cooperstown Area will sponsor the September Welcome Home Cooperstown. Come for conversation and snacks, and to learn about voting in the upcoming mid-term elections.
We will be registering new voters, helping voters update their registrations, and providing important information on voting options: Voting by mail, absentee voting, early voting, and finding your polling place to vote on election day.
Journalist and author J.J. Green will speak on his recent book, "The Noise War". He provides a practical guide for recognizing and combatting mis and dis information, a crucial topic as we approach the midterm elections.
