The White Plains Common Council held its regularly-stated monthly meeting on July 6, 2020, via videoconference. At this meeting, a public hearing on 52 N. Broadway was again adjourned until August 3. A hearing was held on a site plan amendment for 1236 Mamaroneck Avenue to expand the Living Word Christian Church.

The council also took the following actions:

• Approved borrowing for the replacement of the Cemetery Road bridge
• Eased the requirements for stores holding sidewalk sales
• Accepted funding of nearly $1 million for various youth programs
• Approved the refunding of certain bonds to save money

No Citizens to be Heard session was held.
