The League of Women Voters of White Plains will hold a Candidate Forum for White Plains Mayoral Democratic Primary on Thursday, May 22, 7-8 p.m. in the White Plains Public Library Auditorium. The White Plains Mayoral Democratic Primary will be held on June 24 (early voting available, see details here). The candidates are Justin Brasch and Nadine Hunt-Robinson. The forum will be recorded by White Plains Community Media and rebroadcast on Channel 46 (Verizon) and Channel 77 (Optimum). It will also be available on the White Plains Community Media website www.wpcommunitymedia.org. Please note that LWV policy does not allow personal video or audio recording of the forum.
How to ask a question: While no questions will be taken from the floor, those interested in submitting questions should email them to bethkava [at] gmail.com by 5 p.m. Weds. May 14. Write Mayoral Primary Forum Question in the subject line. While we will not share your name and contact info at the Forum, we ask that you include the following information to ensure that WP residents have their questions heard: Your name, your address, and your question.
Questions should be applicable to all candidates and center on White Plains issues rather than personalities. The League will review questions, consolidate similar ones, and select those that reflect a wide range of issues.
