Just this past August Visalia's cutting-edge Waste WaterTreament Plant was upgraded. at $152 million, it's the biggest public works project our City has ever undertaken. Water flowing through purple pipes is not quite pure enough for human consumption, but clean enough to be used in agriculture. We'll be learning about Visalia's water swap agreement with Tulare Irrigation District and more. This plant is the 5th largest such facility in the country and in the top 25 worldwide!
