The following is a request that was sent to me by Nick Mall, Assistant Manager of Adult Services at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library (and he is the wonderful tech expert who ran our Zooms for Great Decisions and the Kenilworth Village Board Candidates Forum on Saturday, March 20th). If you can help in any way (reach out to neighbors, friends, colleagues, relatives who are residents of Winnetka, Northfield or Kenilworth) it would be much appreciated by the W/NF PL, which is so supportive of League:
Dear Chaya:
We’re beginning the process of developing our new Strategic Plan at the library, and one of our goals is to speak with residents who fall in segments of the community that we historically have not reached as well. I’ve been tasked with trying to find residents under the age of 65, who don’t have children living with them at home, to participate in a 90-minute (virtual) session about library services.
I wonder if you know of anyone personally who might be willing to participate– or if the LWV would be willing to put the request out there in some capacity?
Here are the details:
- Must be a resident of Winnetka, Northfield, or Kenilworth
- 18-64 years old, living in a household currently without children
- To participate in a 60-90 minute virtual roundtable about library services
- To be held on the week of April 20th, most likely
If you happen to know of anyone, we’d just need their name and an email address to contact them . (OR they can contact Nick at the W/NF PL at: Nick Mall <nmall [at] winnetkalibrary.org> or by phone:
(847) 446-7220.)
Any info/leads/ideas etc., would be appreciated, thank you,
Nick
