The Appropriations--Human Services Committee is scheduled to have a hearing on HB5806 at 8 am on Thursday, March 3.  This bill appropriates $3,500,000 to the Department of Public Health to be used for the safe gun storage public awareness campaign required under specified provisions of the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois.
