IN SUPPORT OF OUR WORK: "A WREATH IN PROGRESS"

 As part of our celebration of Women's Equality Day on Friday, August 26, when we remember the passage of the 19th Amendment, our League will also  remember the people special to us who exemplify the spirit of the day.

Please join us in sponsoring our Women's Equality Day "wreath in progress," decorated with suffrage symbols of yellow roses and purple ribbons, and designed to display "legacy leaves" that share the names of the people who inspire us to continue to help make democracy work for all.

For each "legacy leaf" donation of $5 or more, names emailed to wreathfund [at] lwvshr.org will be handwritten on paper leaves and added to the wreath. The wreath will be placed at a community location to be announced. 

Personal checks are preferred to avoid  transaction fees. Please make checks out to LWVSHR, write "wreath donation" in the memo line, and mail to:
