Please join us for an informal conversation with local historian and New Trier High School history teacher Todd Maxman on October 26 at 7 pm at St John's Lutheran Church. The topic is Civil Rights and Social Justice on the North Shore: Local History in our Community and in Our Schools. Register here.

Todd will share the work he has been doing over the past several years and he will update us on his plans for continued research during his sabbatical this 2022-23 school year. Importantly, Todd is looking for people who would like to contribute oral histories. He will highlight the themes he is exploring and seek connections to people with whom he can explore these topics based on personal experiences.
