Darla Amundson, IdahoSTARS Lead Quality Child Care Consultnat will discuss the challenges facing many early childhood programs and the resources and opportunities available to them as well as support available for families in need of finding care. 

Amundson is the IdahoSTARS Lead Quality Child Care Consultant, overseeing the Region 2 IdahoSTARS Child Care Resource Center, which is a program through the University of Idaho/Center on Disabilities and Human Development. For the past 24 years she has supported childcare professionals and programs throughout the area to continually improve early care and educational practices. Darla has a BAS in Child Development Family Relations from University of Idaho. She has a passion for developing relationships with early childhood programs and staff along with supporting and coaching them as they open, maintain, and improve the quality of care provided for children and families in Idaho.
