Last week the Supreme Court heard opening arguments in Moore v. Harper – a case that promotes the “Independent State Legislature Theory (ISLT)” – a baseless theory promoted by radicalized conservatives that, if made into law, would wreak havoc on future elections. This case comes after what was projected to be the most expensive midterm elections in history – where the influence of billionaires, Super PACs, and dark money promoted election deniers and other anti-democratic efforts during the campaign cycle.

Join us on Wednesday, December 14, from 1pm ET to 2pm ET, when Brennan Center experts will discuss both ISLT and money in politics reform – and provide insight on our work to protect and uphold our democratic processes.
