About Users and Members in MyLO
About image above: "MO" refers to Members-Only/private content.
There are multiple user roles with different permissions allowed among each role. Within MyLO, there are five user roles.
- Starting with the largest pool of users, we have the general public users. These users do not login and have no permissions beyond accessing public content. They have no access to private content or private files.
- Next, are MyLO users. These users have a registered MyLO user account but have not yet been allowed access to a League's site/group. Users can create their own account at this level, but again won't gain access to any League's private content. Webmasters can also grant this access to a user, but the webmaster will typically want that user to have further access (next user role).
- (Local or state) League members** have access to a League's private content. These users were allowed in by a webmaster or admin; they were not able to automatically gain access to this user role.
**When we refer to a member in the context of MyLO, we are not referring to a paid League member. Membership in MyLO only allows the member to access private content from particular League MyLO site(s). - Webmasters (also known as administrator members) have editing and user management access to a League's site/group. A webmaster can edit or create League content and upload or delete files. As far as user management access goes, a webmaster can add, edit, or delete user accounts. A webmaster can be assigned to one or more Leagues on MyLO.
- The MyLO Administrator role is reserved for the MyLO Team at LWVC only. These users have full access to all League sites and users on MyLO.
