The League of Women Voters of the Edwardsville Area will be holding its September monthly meeting on the 4th Tuesday evening of September.  This meeting is open to the public.

Our Speaker:  Illinois State Senator Erica Harriss

Erica Harriss began her service as a State Senator in the 56th District in 2023.  The 56th District of Illinois includes portions of Madison and St. Clair counties.

 

Prior to her election to the Illinois Senate, Erica served on the Madison County Board for six years, representing its 26th District.  

 

Erica was born in Highland, graduated from Edwardsville High School, and then from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1999 with a degree in Speech Communication/Public Relations.

 

Erica and her husband, Jeff, reside in Glen Carbon and have three Children.
