What is broadband and why do we need it? Join us to understand the state of broadband in Latah County and learn how the local coalition is building digital highways and bridging the digital divide.

Mangiapani is a long-time Latah County resident, living in Moscow for almost 20 years. Before starting as a contract grant writer for Latah County in October 2020, she couldn’t have told you what broadband was, let alone imagined speaking about building a coalition around making it better. Now, she leads the Latah County Broadband Coalition, which is made up of local stakeholders who’ve pledged to participate in planning broadband projects as well as education and outreach efforts.

This event will be held in-person at the 1912 Center Fiske Room in Moscow.
