PUBLIC COMMENT
A representative from the Twin Lakes Association informed the trustees that there has been an increase in criminal activity in Twin Lakes, particularly in the area surrounding Sylvan Drive, including people walking down the road wearing headlamps, car break-ins, attempted house break-ins, and recently a break-in attempt at the meeting hall. Residents are encouraged to notify the Sheriff’s Department whenever suspicious activity is noticed.
Another Twin Lakes resident reported that her neighbor has had a truck without plates and three flat tires parked in his driveway for several months. Mr. Ciccozzi will follow up.
ZONING, ROAD AND FIRE REPORTS
Mr. Ciccozzi updated residents about the Twin Lakes resident who has been landing his helicopter on his property. He has been in contact with both local and federal aviation agencies and will continue to monitor the situation.
Mr. Ackerley reported on the Sixth and Ohio Streets paving project and the chip and seal project on Spell, Seasons, and Judson Roads. Mr. Russell and Mr. Swan both expressed gratitude to Mr. Ackerley for the great work being done by the road department.
Mr. Smith reported an open burn in the township, which the fire department extinguished.
