How does the Santa Barbara registrar's office ensure that our ballots are handled securely?

We hope you had the opportunity to attend the “Safeguarding Your Vote” event last fall in Santa Maria and Guadalupe.  Our League invited Santa Barbara County Clerk and Registrar of Voters, Joseph Holland, to explain how our county keeps our votes secure through a system of checks and double-checks.  This topic will interest ALL voters no matter their party preference.
