Training will begin at 11:30 am, including free Narcan kits.  Lunch and networking will follow beginning at 12:30.

Narcan, also known as Naloxone, is a life-saving nasal spray that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.  When used correctly, Narcan can stop respiratory depression caused by drugs like heroin, fentanyl, morphine, and codeine.  Due to Narcan's life-saving abilities, LAHC's Substance Misuse Prevention program offers training on the signs of an opioid overdose and how to properly administer the spray to better equip community members to help if someone is experiencing an opioid overdose.

Held at LAHC Office: 5275 Kenilworth Street, Dearborn.
