Interested in signing the Citizens Not Politicians/Fair Districts Petition to put an amendment on the ballot to end gerrymandering in Ohio? 

The Citizens Not Politicians Amendment is a citizen initiative to end gerrymandering. It bans lobbyists and politicians from the redistricting process and instead establishes the Ohio Citizens Redistricting Commission, empowering citizens to draw fair voting districts using an open and transparent process. 

The League of Women Voters of Kent is staffing locations weekly in Kent, primarily indoors, where you can sign the petition.

Find our volunteers at the locations below on these dates and times. They will walk you through the process and help you sign the petition.

What do you need to bring with you? Nothing! We'll be able to check if you are registered online.

The Citizens Not Politicians Amendment will: 

• Create a 15-member Citizens Commission made up of Democrats, Republicans & Independents. 

• Ban politicians, political party officials, & lobbyists from sitting on the Commission.

• Make it unconstitutional to draw maps that favor any political party or politician.

• Require the commission to operate under an open and transparent process.
