The LWV of Williamson County invites you to an in-person meeting at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library, TUESDAY, March 12th from 1-2. (Please note the new date for this event.) The program will feature a debate between award-winning debaters from MTSU Blue Raider debate team and the winners of the National Debate Championship in Ireland. Please join us in welcoming the Irish debaters to Tennessee as they face off against our own MTSU students for what will be an informative and entertaining program.

 

Representing MTSU:

Moderator: 

Jessica Rogers is a senior from Olivia, North Carolina. She is a dual major in Psychology and Communication Studies. Jessica is the President of MTSU's Pi Kappa Delta Honor Society andspecializes in individual speech events.

Debaters:

Joey Mego is a senior from Jackson, Tennessee. He double majors in Physics and Japanese and is the Captain of the MTSU Speech and Debate Team.

Sadie Robinson is a freshman from Chattanooga. Sage is an Honors student with a Psychology major and minors in Biology and chemistry.

August Williams â€“ Is a junior from Readyville, TN. They are a Journalism and Spanish double major. August has been on the team for three years, as well as the news editor for the campus newspaper, Sidelines, and a member of MTSU’s Soprano Alto Chorale.
