We wanted to make sure you were aware of the Michigan Public Service Commission's recently-announced hearing opportunities regarding our new renewables siting law. The Commission will host two virtual sessions to engage the public on implementation of changes to state energy law that move the siting of large wind and solar energy projects under its jurisdiction.

You can listen and weigh in on Thursday, March 7th or Tuesday, March 19th. Both hearings are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and will be conducted via livestream on Microsoft Teams.

The commission also launched a dedicated website that will provide information during the implementation of the siting authority law changes. You will be able to find additional details on how to join the livestreamed meetings here.
