At our Annual Meeting/Picnic in June, we honored member Sue Altman for her many contributions to the community, including launching Common Ground and spearheading "The Spot," a gathering place for teens.  We celebrated the accomplishments of our outgoing president, Doris Dingott.  We were joined by Students inside Albany Lance Anthony and Asa Hamlin.  At the White Plains High School Senior Awards Night, President Doris Dingott presented the LWVWP Marjorie Davies Memorial Scholarship to August Geary.

In May, we held a very successful School Board Candidate Forum that was attended by nearly 100 people in person, streamed live, and viewed by hundreds more over the School District's cable channel.
