Join us for a public session about education legislation in Ohio and the effects on our local schools and community. Our speaker will be Ana Chapman, a dedicated advocate for public education with more than two decades of service. She is an organizer for Honesty for Ohio Education, a nonpartisan, statewide coalition that champions honest education, the affirmation of all identities, cultures and lived experiences, and the rights and safety of all students, families and educators. The League of Women Voters of Ohio is an HOE partner.

Ms. Chapman is in her 12th year as a member of the Berea City School District Board of Education, serving as president for eight years. A lifelong volunteer, she has been active in her school district since 2004 and has held leadership roles at the local, state and national levels of the PTA, including serving as president of Ohio PTA from 2019 to 2021.
